Greece's political leaders have met on Saturday to discuss in resolving Macedonia's name dispute.
The meeting is held a few days before United Nations representative Matthea Nimetz visited the two countries to find a compromise.
Greece's Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras met on Saturday with leaders of all parliamentary opposition parties, with the exception of the far-right wing party, Golden Dawn, as reports AP from Athens. After the meeting, Tsipras stated that he was prepared to accept "a composite name ... with a geographical or historical reference", where the name Macedonia would be included. This means that the name can be Upper Macedonia or New Macedonia.
However, he added that the parties should still work together to reach an agreement.
