US Congressman Eliot Engel delivered a speech today at the Kosovo Assembly at the solemn session in honor of the 10th anniversary of Kosovo's Independence.
During this speech Engel said that he is very grateful to the Kosovar people, as they have made more beautiful his life.
"I love the people of Kosovo, they have made my life cleaner so I have the honor to be with you in honor of the 10th anniversary," Engel said.Also, in this speech, Congressman Engel expressed some wishes about how he wants to see Kosovo in the future.
"I want to see Kosovo in the EU, I want Kosovo to NATO, I want to see Kosovo in advancing, I want this government to deal with corruption, I want to see a place where there is fresh air, and this country to have a multiethnic army, this is my vision for you," Engels said at the Speech of the Assembly.
Among other things, he also talked to young people in Kosovo, where he stressed, "These young people will be part of the establishment of this country, here I see a country with a great future and it is not easy to understand, sometimes it was more difficult than your friends. "
This session was attended by a large number of international guests, invited by Kosovo institutions in honor of the 10th anniversary of Independence.
