A prestigious production on Skanderbeg and the life of the Albanian national hero is expected to "capture" world cinema.
It is being realized by the Italian director Steven Renso, who has decided to entrust the role of Skanderbeg to the Albanian actor Rimi Beqiri.
This film follows the next film for Skanderbeg that was performed by a Russian production in 1953.Beqiri says if a big movie about this important Albanian figure should be made, then a great Hollywood production would have to be involved.
In an interview for "KultPlus" he has shown the stories and the unspeakable stories about "Kastriota", the last film on Skanderbeg's figure.
The film is of a short feature and is an Italian production, tell us more about how it came to the realization of the film?
Director Steven Renso, engaged with a girl from my sides, Tirana, often visiting Tirana was impressed with the figure of our hero, then was informed somewhat more from all sides until he arrived at the end of the decision to shoot a movie, and why not risking too much, but it's just amazing to show a part of our hero's life with his personal artistic outlook.
The movie trailer has just been published, but how about the journey of this project are you aware of how it will go when and where it will appear?
I think that the film like many other short feature films will take the road in different festivals, both in our country and abroad, and we hope to achieve it as high as possible.
Where is the film shot?
We shot it in one of the mountains of "Dossena," 1200 above sea level - 5 degrees Celsius, located in a province of Bergamo.
Based on the trailer, are some special costumes in this project as well, how did these images give you emotions?
Ah the costumes are very beautiful and why they are not as much of that time but very exciting because these types of costumes add the proper adrenaline and make you think like at that time to help get in the way as soon as possible bear the responsibility of that character to the end ... in this case of modern Skanderbeg.
