The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, is received today at an official meeting by Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Theresa May.
Prime Minister Haradinaj thanked PM May for the historic support given to Kosovo in the most important periods of the state-building road, Kosovo media say.
"Since the time of the war in 1999 when the United Kingdom was determined to support Kosovo's right, it is the same support, the same willingness. I have asked the attention of the official London, of the prime minister on remaining open issues for Kosovo. We have unreserved support," said Prime Minister Haradinaj.Meanwhile, Prime Minister May has said that the United Kingdom will continue supporting Balkan countries in the integration processes and in creating economic and security stability.
In this meeting was present also Boris Johnson, British Foreign Secretary Alan Duncan, Minister for Europe and America at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Kingdom, Matt Hancock, Secretary of State for Digital Issues, Media and Sports Culture and Amber Rudd, Secretary of State for Internal Affairs.
The meeting was held in the framework of the reception that Prime Minister May made to the six prime ministers of the Western Balkans, who are in London under the WB6 Summit organized by the EBRD and where Prime Minister Haradinaj presented over 30 potential investment projects worth of about 600 million euros.
