Turkish media are focused in detail on the arrest of the Albanian Albanian Met Kanani, known also as the "drug baron".
As the newspaper "Superhaber" writes, an Albanian was caught during an Istanbul anti-drug operation as he supervised the arrival of a sea load on the banks of Bodrum, along with 10 other people.The police operation was finalized in the town of Mugla, where 1.1 tonnes of hashish worth of 53 million euros were confiscated in a warehouse.
The operation was carried out on the basis of information received from the Albanian Police.
The Albanian group had a key role in drug trafficking of different types from Middle Eastern countries to Europe through Turkey and Albania.
According to Turkish media Met Kanani is being investigated for his links to international drug trafficking.
