TV Scan has uncovered the list of the top 10 main suppliers of the Albanian agri-food market, showing also the orientation towards consumption.
Most of the market is occupied by Italian products, with only 115.11 tons of products worth ALL 18.5 billion entering Albania during 2017. The second place is Greece with ALL 14.4 billions, followed by Serbia, Russia, Turkey, Poland, Brazil and Germany.
Among the top 10 countries in the list of the top 10 countries that supply Albanian consumers is anked also Kosovo which has brought in the Albanian market ALL 3 billion products during 2017 and Bulgaria with ALL 2.95 billionMeanwhile, there are a number of other countries that occupy an important weight in the Albanian agri-food market, with significant import values ranging from 1 billion to 2.7 billion leks, such as Austria, Spain, Ecuador, Canada, Ukraine, Macedonia, the Netherlands , Croatia, Hungary etc.
Albania has a trade deficit in this sector that is recorded at the value of ALL 81.3 billion and the imports are the ones that dominate the market.
