At the meeting held this Tuesday in Elbasan, the government decided to open the road to building the Kashar-Thumana highway.
There are 20.8 kilometers foreseen to be built with a budget of All 244.2 million, with a Public Private Partnership contract.
This highway reduces considerably the distance between North and South Albania.
Another infrastructure project, launched years before and that is taken the decision to be closed this year, is the Tirana-Elbasan road. The prime minister says it is important to return the former Metalurgic area to an industrial park.
He says hi is negotiating with various investors to take into account the investment in the area.
According to government figures in Elbasan, over 4 years 374 projects have been implemented, of which 79 are in the infrastructure.
