The eurozone will provide 5.7 billion euros of financial assistance to Greece, which has implemented the required reforms in return for this support, the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) announced today in a press release.
"This money will be intended for the smooth running of the Greek debt, which has reached 180% of the GDP, for the verification of delays and also for the creation of a financial reserve for the post-program period," explains ESM, which oversees area loans of eurozone in Greece."Another one-billion-euro disbursement may be made after May 1, but will be the subject of a subsequent decision," ESM said.
