In his speech, US Ambassador to Tirana Donald Lu said that you are a very lucky group that will soon become the Peace Corps volunteers."You are living in a country with some of the best foods that I've ever lived anywhere in America for almost 30 years. The natural beauty of Albania reminds me my home in Southern California. And the most friendly and pro-American people in the world," said Lu.

"The Albanians of my generation, people who have lived under communism, have deep sores and hidden truths. I thought I understood the tragedy of Albanian communism.
