Former world heavyweight champion, British Tyson Fury will return to the ring on June 9 (in Manchester), but has yet to declare who will be his rival.
British media announced today that there are 3 potential candidates, and among them is an Albanian boxer, Sefer Seferi. He is in the race to join the ring in a confrontation with Fury alongside John Murray and Shannon Briggs.
Fury has not fought since November 2015 when he won World Heavyweight titles in WBA, IBF, IBO, WBO and Ring Magazine against Wladimir Klitschko. After being twice rebuffed against the Ukrainian, the British boxer turned out to be positive with cocaine, the he was suspended and removed the world championships titles.Fury coach Ben Davison, speaking of the upcoming British rival, says, "He will be a good boxer. Who will it be, we still do not know, we are seeking him. We will select someone who is able to fight against Tyson. We have some ideas, we need a boxer who fits the boxing type of Fury."
But in the last few hours, "Sky Bet" thinks the favorite boxer to face the former world champion is Sefer Seferi, a boxer who competes in the cruiserweight weight, who has only once fought in the heavy weight. Seferi has dueled Manuel Charr in 2016 in heavy weight and was defeated for the WBA Regular title.
