The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MEST) announces that the citizens of Kosovo who have completed Bachelor, Master and Doctorate studies in the Republic of Albania as well as those students who continue the studies will not wait for years for the recognition of their diplomas.
"MEST has identified the main problems that cause these delays and eliminated some bureaucratic procedures, such as verifying the diploma's authenticity, which has so far been done through a very long way," is said in MEST communiqué ."The verification of the authenticity of diplomas obtained in the Republic of Albania will be done through the apostil stamp and to NARIC remains solely the other procedures such as: providing information on institution accreditation and study program.
The current procedure for verifying the authenticity of the diploma is through an apostille stamp (a practice applyed in the developed countries), shortening the time period to a maximum of two months procedure," reads the press release.
MEST announces that this rpocedure has already begun to be applyed to other countries in the region.
