Serbia's youth captain, Arton Zekaj, has received a call from Kosovo's coach Fadil Vokrri to join Kosovo.
The 18-year-old was born in Sombor and was part of Partizan of Belgrade youth and "White Eagles". While is now part of Sopot, where is the best player in the third league in Serbia.
Vet Zekaj said he has received a call but added that he will stop and think carefully about the decision he will take.
"Nothing is final," he said to Serbian media.
Regarding the possible reaction in Serbia if he will accept Kosovo, Zekaj said he is not afraid.
"I'm not afraid, I do not think it will be a problem, it depends on many circumstances, I am born in Sombor, I have Serbian passports, I have played for Partizan and the youth category of Serbia, the captain of whom I have been."
"You know what, if I knew I would accept the call from the Serbian Representative in the future, I would stay in the team of Eagle."
Meanwhile, FFK chairman, Fadil Vokrri, told TV2 that the decision belongs to Zekaj, but added that his arrival in Kosovo meant a lot.
