The Committee on Legislation, Mandates, Immunities, the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly and the Supervision of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Assembly of Kosovo, met today the members of the Kosovo-Croatian Friendship Group.
The Kosovo Assembly informed that in the meeting was discussed about the cooperation between Kosovo and Croatia in the parliamentary sphere, with particular emphasis on the field of legislation.
During this meeting, was also discussed about the establishment of language classes at the University of Prishtina and the University of Zagreb. This platform enables the creation of the Croatian Language Department at the University of Prishtina and the Department of Albanian Studies at the University of Zagreb.There were also discussed about the strategies and legal norms, which are applied by the Homologous Committee of the Commission for Legislation in Croatia. The representatives of the Croat Friendship Group stressed the need for Kosovo to continue fulfilling the conditions required by the European Union in order to achieve visa liberalization as soon as possible. The friends from Croatia expressed readiness to help Kosovo in every process and challenge, pointing out that Croatia was, is and will be a friend state of Kosovo. The Kosovo-Croatia Friendship Group of the Croatian Parliament was also hosted by the chairman of the Committee for Economic, Development, Infrastructure, Trade, Industry and Regional Development, Sala Berisha - Shala, accompanied by MP Hykmete Bajrami, member of the Commission. During the meeting was estimated that the friendly relations between Kosovo and Croatia should be maintained and further cultivated for the benefit of both countries. Meanwhile, it was pointed out that in this phase of economic development of Kosovo, it is necessary the support and invest from abroad.
