Arbër Çekaj, the owner of 'Arbri Garden', has been arrested in Germany, his company has transported 613 kilograms of cocaine from Colombia to Durres.
The news was announced by police sources. Çekaj had been declared wanted since the police operation, but his arrest was made only the last night.It was a German police operation in cooperation with the Albanian police.
Untill now was arrested only the driver and the manager of his company.
Following the arrest of Arber Çekaj, Prime Minister Edi Rama has warned other arrests.
In a Facebook reaction, he wrote that other arrests will follow in the coming weeks.
"And it's not over yeat, no, other arrests will follow in the coming weeks and not because Germany or the World is looking for it, but we say what we do and do what we say! Are we and no one else who can pass the sea that separates the rumors from the dids, no matter how mud they throw to us..." he wrote.
