Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama said that his country has an obligation to protect Albanians living outside the borders of the Albanian state.
Talking about Euronews Rama said Albanians in the Balkans have never been in a better position than today.
"In our Constitution, we have the obligation to protect Albanians abroad everywhere, but at the same time I think Albanians have never been better than today, wherever they live. So in Kosovo, they have their state now. In Macedonia, they are part of a real revolution in changing the approach to the Albanian language and the Albanian people. In southern Serbia, I hope their conditions will be improved, based on the fact that Serbs in Kosovo are treated much better," Edi Rama told EuronewsRama said also he is against the creation of "Greater Albania".
"I've always said that I have a dream to join under the sky of the European Union and I never dreamed about a 'Greater Albania' because I have great dreams, a 'Greater Europe' with all Albanians within." Said the prime minister of Albania.
