Russian administration officials will be banned from visiting our country, Albania, during this tourist season.
This news is reported today one of the most important touristic portals in the Russian Federation, called "TourDom" or "The Touring House" (tourdom.ru).
Officially, such a decision is justified by the fact that our country, in cooperation with other EU countries and with NATO member states, has imposed economic sanctions against Russia.Despite this, the move taken by official Moscow did not even target all EU and NATO countries that have joined the Western sanctions against Russia, targeting thus only Albania in a selective manner, a clear evidence of the anti- Albanian campaign sponsored by Kremlin.
Russian officials and parliamentarians are invited to abandon travel trips to countries that have joined sanctions against the Russian Federation.
The Russian Federation's tourist portal states that many Russian civil servants are already planning summer vacations, including trips abroad, so it is necessary to immediately review the proposed changes.
The Declaration of Russian Duma Representative (Parliament of the Russian Federation):
"Officials should be a model of behavior of all citizens, both in professional and personal life.
That is why it is unacceptable when spending their holidays in countries that sanction Russia.
We add that currently in this list are the weel-known tourist destinations as Bulgaria, Montenegro, as well as Albania, Switzerland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Estonia and Latvia."
In the propaganda initiative of the Russian Federation, it is also proposed that Russian state officials who decide to travel to the above mentioned countries including Albania should be dismissed from work.
But Russia's anti-Albanian propaganda does not stop here. The day before, the Kremlin's official propaganda machine, Russia Today, published a completely negative writing about Albanian reality.
