While official Tirana is burdened by internal problems, the annexation of Southern Albania is celebrated in Bularat, Gjirokastra. The rally was organized by the Movement for the Resurrection of Vorio Epirus with the President Montis Kolilas.
A large flag of Northern Epirus was unfurled. Montis Kolilas, who is said to be the chair of the Revival Movement of Northern Epirus, writes on Facebook: "Today in Bularat at the anniversary event of the Corfu Protocol and the autonomy of North Epirus. We honor the fallen fighters in 1914".
Greek nationals from Athens, Thessaloniki, Janina and Igumenica were also present at the rally. The organization was held in cooperation with the Municipality of Dropull, where the mayor, deputy mayor and culture manager were present. The rally was held in the village center, very close to the high school and the monument of the national educators of the Greek community, who, according to the persons who were present, were martyred during the period 1944-1990.
The rally was organized on the 104th anniversary of the Corfu Protocol. There was present also the mayor of the municipality of Dropull, Arqilea Deçka. Participants raised their voice on what they call the problems of the time. They said that Greeks are not just residents of these 99 villages known by the Albanian government, but Hellenism in Vorio Epir has a history that exceeds the geographically known boundaries that according to them includes areas such as Përmet, Himara and Korça.
