The operation is carried out by three organisations, "Save the Bears", "Four Putts" and "Save Albanian Bears", together with the Rome Foundation in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and the Environment in Albania.
Rome's Biopark President Federico Coccia said, "These are the brothers John and Sam and their sister Maria, born in 2017, which we mistreated. They were kept chained and used for photos to make money from tourists. They were even used to attract customers to restaurants and clubs."
