An Albanian sentenced to 25 years in prison for murder in Macedonia, has been killed after attempted to escape the police.
The event happened in Tetovo and the victim is Jeton Rexhepi. The 38-year-old has been convicted of murder.This was not the first time that Rexhepi attempted to escape, as he tried to do the same thing years ago, just in 2012, 2014 and 2016. However, despite his many attempts, soon or later he has been caught by police. This was his fourth attempt.
But this time, Rexhepi reacted with a gun. Macedonian media stated that Rexhepi was armed and opened fire to the Special Forces who sought to arrest him in the early hours of the morning.
Unofficial data indicate that Rexhepi was also accused of an abduction during his years in escape.
