Granit Xhaka and Xherdan Shaqiri were fined with 10,000 Swiss francs each becouse they celebrated the respective goals against Serbia with the eagle symbol. While the Swiss captain, Stephan Lichtsteiner, who also performed the two-headed eagle in solidarity of the two Albanians is fined with 5,000 francs for the same reason.
An internet campaign to raise money in order to pay the fines of the three players has been launched, which means 25,000 francs.
In the open account at gofundsme, in just the first 60 minutes have been accumulated more than 1000 francs.
The majority of the Donors Albanians..
After FIFA's decision against the three Swiss players many Albanian personalities offered money to pay the fine of 25 thousand francs.
The Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has been also part of this campaign, who in his Facebook profile has published informations over the account where everyone can contribute to pay the fine of the players.
"DO NOT BE AFRAOD FROM THE EAGLE," is the name of the bank account where everyone can make a symbolic contribution, to pay FIFA's absurd fine against Grant Xhakaj and Xherdan Shaqiri," Rama writes.
Seems that someone will gain money in an easy way, having in mind that we have to deal with two different fundraising campaigns and the readines of many Albanians to pay their "fee" for joy they got after the match.
