Tirana International Airport welcomed the first 184 passengers of Israir Airlines, whose aircraft flew from Tel Aviv to the capital of Albania.
TIA organized a small ceremony on the occasion of commencing the operation of a new destination from the city of Israel to Tirana.
The new line is scheduled to operate every Tuesday and Friday until the end of September, which will serve to strengthen relations between Albania and Israel, especially in the economy.
"This news delights us a lot. TIA supports these destinations financially with the purpose of developing the tourism and raise it to a higher degree Albania's image," said Dr. Rolf Castro-Vasquez, Chief Executive Officer of TIA.
TIA promises that its staff is best prepared to cope with the passage of passengers during the Summer, as well as to offer the highest possible standards of service and comfort.
