Swiss coach Vladimir Petkovic has published the final list with 23 players for Russia 2018 World Cup, he has also invited four Albanian footballers.
Valon Behrami, Blerim Xhemajli, Granit Xhaka and Xherdan Shaqiri are invited to be part of the World Cup.
Albian Ajeti, the Albanian striker who refused the Albanian national team to play for that of Switzerland, will not be part of the 2018 World Cup, although he made a fantastic season, scoring 17 goals in 32 appearances in Swiss Super League.
Albian Ajeti refused to wear the reddish shirt of Albania, just like his brother, but neither Switzerland called him for the Summer tournament.
As already known, Admir Mehmedi will not be part of the World Cup because he has failed to fully recover in time after suffered injuries in the ligaments.
