An Albanian was sentenced to 6 years in prison by the British authorities in UK after embarking illegal immigrants in England.
According to British media, the 40-year-old Albanian Afrim Xhekaliu, on January 31 of this year he tried to embark 8 Albanians in England.Despite controversy, the London Court found him guilty and gave him a six-year prison sentence.
Xhekaliu, who lived in Barnet, London, was arrested in Eastbourne after being found on a speedboad together with 8 illegal immigrants aboard. Investigators believe the speedboat had been departed from France a few hours earlier.
