Italian police have detained and arrested in flagrante 22 people, accused of being part of a drug trafficking group based in Netherlands.
The destruction of the Albanian-Arab gang was in the framework of the operation 'Sottobosco', operating in several areas of Italy, namely in; Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, Lombardy and Sicily.
Italian media write that the group is supplied with cocaine from the Netherlands and then distributed it to the Italian market.While Ferrara's carabinieri and their colleagues from Bolonia, Modena, Parma, Brescia, Mantova, Florence, Pisa and Pistoia executed the arrest warrant for 22 people who are in detention.
Meanwhile the investigations into this operation had started in 2016, while evidence proved the illegal activity of this gang, which was specialized in the trade of cocaine imported from the Netherlands and traded in Italy.
