Panic in Tirana after the Earthquake of 5.2 Richter scale

 Strong quake vibrations have been felt in Tirana and in almost the whole country. 

According to preliminary data, strong vibrations have also been felt in Vlora, Fier and Durrës. The shifts were felt at 11:03 and were recorded with a 5.2 Richter magnitude scale.

More information is expected in the coming hours relating to the damages caused by the quake.

Is worth mentioning that almost all Tirana residents went out of their houses and work buildings because of the fear.

Center Tirana a few secons after the Earthquake

The earthquake epicenter was 28 km Northwest of Tirana.

The vibrations have also been felt in Vlora, Durrës and Fier.

Meanwhile earthquake vibrations has been felt also in Kosovo and West Macedonia.

Meanwhile the Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj has appealed to citizens after the earthquake that shocked the capital. He advises the citizens to avoid buildings until the clarification of the circumstances. He also has revealed the emergency numbers where the citizens can call: 112.
