Spain's Ambassador to Albania, Vicente Canelles, presents a concert "in which the contemporary Spanish art of the twentieth century shows where we come from, what distinguishes us and what some artists brought in that century in European culture. The orchestra "Reino de Aragon" and their conductor, Casero, now known for his conduction in other concerts in Albania, are introduced, which in this spectacle leads to the depths of Spanish cultural roots.
The "Reino de Aragon" orchestra (ORA) is a national formation created in 2011 by the Aragonese musician Sergio Guarne. This orchestra has performed more than 43 productions, 100 concerts, crossing the limit of 125,000 participants in its spectacle. Has recorded the Home Orchestra records, 25 S 'The return' and 'México, Ahora y Siempre'. ORA has been a resident orchestra at the prestigious international festival Riva del Garda (Italy) in 2014 and 2015 editions, sharing the scene with world-class artists such as Natalia Gutman (cello), Aldo Ciccolini (piano), Sergey Ostrovsky (violin). Has also made a production in collaboration with Sarah Chang, one of the world's best violinists, on a tour through Germany and Turkey. In the social aspect cooperates closely with establishing an educational system in Uganda, Africa. Since 2017 is the resident formation in the Zaragoza Auditorium.This orchestra has sparked the curiosity of producers worldwide, receiving invitations from many countries like China, Canada, Switzerland, France, etc.
The elements of ORA will play in collaboration with elements of the Albanian National Opera Orchestra. The magic of Spanish sounds will be interpreted by Spanish and Albanian instrumentalists, ballet dancers and professional solo singers. With the participation of the soloist Vikena Kamenica, Abigeila Voshtina and ballet dancers Isida Mollaymeri and Erald Zela and orchestrations by Gerti Druga. The concert will take place at the new theater "Turbina", on Thursday, August 2 at 20:00. This concert is sponsored by the Spanish Embassy, the Ministry of Culture, the Municipality of Tirana and the Reino de Aragon Orchestra. The program includes Isaac Albéniz and Manuel de Falla.
