The European Integration Minister of Serbia, Jadranka Joksimovic admits that without reaching the final Pristina-Belgrade agreement, the Serbian state will have no EU membership.
Joksimovic, in an interview to 'Politiko' stressed the importance of continuing the dialogue between the two states.
"The EU negotiating framework is clear about the dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade: The binding agreement on the normalization of relations must be reached before accession," she said.According to her this is done because the European Union has no interest in bearing any problems, but the problems must be initially resolved.
"The agreements should be implemented. The association is important and we are still not seeing something concrete from Pristina, "Joksimovic said.
The European Union has repeatedly stressed that Kosovo and Serbia should reach an agreement as soon as possible.
The beginning of 2019 is the most optimal time to do so, but everything depends on the interest of the two states.
Thaci and Vucic are expected to meet again in July.
