The services of the processing of the goods ordered by the foreigners increased by 35% compared to the same period of the previous year.
The Albanian economy benefited EUR 520 million from exported services in the first half of 2018.According to the data of the Bank of Albania, the main part of the income comes by these sectors: tourism and fasonry, followed by services related to commodity processing, call center services, or information technology for foreign companies.
An important branch of the fason industry is the processing of sea products and especially of the sardine.
BoA's data show that the fason sector leads with 200 million euros in revenue, while the revenue from the processing of of the goods ordered beyond the sea are increased by 35% compared to the same period of a year ago .
It is mainly focused on the production of clothing and footwear ordered from abroad but, in recent years, there is an expansion of the range of products Made in Albania.
