Within the Council of the European Union, today is expected to be meet about the Visa Working Group (COEEB), where will be discussed about visa liberalization for Kosovo.
If this Working Group gives its consent to the visa waiver, the proposal goes to the COREPER level, in which is discussed by the ambassadors of EU member states.The final decision is taken by the Council of Ministers of Interior and Justice.
Representatives of the ruling coalition in Kosovo have expressed optimism about the progress of the visa liberalization process.
They say throug social networks that it is a matter of months for the completion of this process and the creation of the possibility for free movement of Kosovo citizens in the area.
Those of European integrations say the decision to abolish visas is expected to be taken by the end of the year, unless there is any political interference in the Council of Ministers.
