Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, during the visit to the United States of America, met today the Albanian-Americans and representatives of Albanian associations in America with whom he talked about political and economic developments in Kosovo.
The Prime Minister thanked the Diaspora who lives and works in the United States for their extraordinary contribution to the freedom and independence of Kosovo and now to economic development and the strengthening of the democratic state."We are proud of our diaspora in the United States of America.
You have been and continue to be the strongest voice of Kosovo, with your work and engagement you have sensitized the issue of Kosovo to the crucial moments," Haradinaj said, praising the role of the Atlantic Battalion and all volunteers to help the country in difficult times.
Haradinaj informed the Albanian-Americans and representatives of Albanian associations in America about the priorities of Kosovo Government, the steps taken by the Government to improve the climate of doing business, economic development, strengthening of democracy and consolidation of the state.
He said on this occasion that Kosovo's freedom, independence and statehood are closely linked with the United States of America, which are leaders of freedom and democratic order in the world, so we are eternally grateful.
Meanwhile the Albanian Americans and representatives of Albanian associations in the US during the meeting with Prime Minister Haradinaj expressed their willingness to invest in Kosovo.
