Albanian renowned cellist Vlorent Xhafaj returns to Tirana with two new concerts.
Along with Maurizio Baglini, Xhafaj will be on October 28 at the University of Arts in Tirana, where he will play a wonderful program including the works of Liszt, Chopin, Dohnányi and Busoni.Also on November 1, in the framework of the German October celebrations in Tirana, Xhafaj will be part of the Albanian-German trio.
At the University of Arts in Tirana at 19:00, Albanian cellist Vlorent Xhafaj, Albanian pianist Zamir Kabo and German clarinetist Fabian Dirr, will play three parts of Weber, Alban Berg, Krzysztof Penderecki, Max Bruch and Beethoven in the Great Hall of the University of Arts.
Vlorent Xhafaj was born in 1983 in Vlora and left Albania at the age of 16, while currently living in Paris.
Although he left the homeland at an early age, he took the basics and love for music in his home country, where he was initially formed at the Naim Frasheri Art School in Vlore in 1988-1991, later at the Jordan Misja Art School in Tirana and then at the Academy of Arts in Tirana.
