Albania's Minister of European and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati, met in the United States with the American-Israeli Committee (AJC), with whom talked about the role of Diaspora's contribution to the further development of Albania and the United States.
"It is always a pleasure to meet with the American-Israeli Committee, we talked about the role of Diaspora's contribution to the further development of our countries. Albania welcomed and defended Jews during World War II, giving the inspirational example of the best human values. With AJC friends we discussed Albania's key role for security, peace and strengthening of the rule of law throughout the region. We also talked about the opportunities Albania offers for investments in areas such as energy, tourism, infrastructure and agriculture," Bushati writes in his status on his Facebook page.Present was also the Albanian Ambassador to the United States, Floreta Faber.
