One of 27 people arrested by police within the mega operation stretching out in 12 districts of the country is also a sportsman.
It is about the Albanian wrestler Elis Guri from Shkodra, who is on the list of persons detained by the police for the criminal offenses of "Production and sale of narcotics" and "Narcotics Trafficking".The Mega operation coded "VOL-VO 4" has been extended in 12 Albanian cities from Hasi to Saranda and members of 4 criminal groups has been hit within the "Force of Law" operation.
After 2008, Elis Guri represents the Bulgarian state in international wrestling.

Elis Guri was born in Shkodra on July 6, 1983 and is an Albanian wrestler of 96 kg. His greatest success was first scored in 2008 in the European Championship that took place in Tampere, Finland, where Elis Guri was declared the winner of the 96kg Bronze Medal.
But also in the 2007 World Championship, Elis Guri is ranked seventh in the 96 kg weight, earning the right to qualify for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
As a participant for the first time in Olympics, Guri ranked 8th, marking the second best result achieved by Albanians. Other good results could be mentioned in the 7th medal at the Mediterranean Games "Almeria 2005", silver medal at the Trofeo "Milone 2006" etc..
After 2008, Elis Guri is part of Bulgaria because of economic reasons - his homeland did not supported him financially though he was world champion. But on September 13, 2011 he won the Gold Medal at the World Wrestling Championship in the 96 kg category.
