Albanian Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati received on Friday morning his Turkish counterpart, Mevlut Çavusoglu. After the meeting, ministers came out at a joint press conference, where Chavusoglu promised the construction of several schools in our country.
"We will build new schools in Albania to raise the level of education. We will not only accept students from Albania but also from the region. We support Albania's candidacy in the OSCE," said the Turkish Minister, who added that" Albania-Turkey economic relations are developing every day."Further on, Turkish Foreign Minister adds: "We expect to close anti-Turkish institutions in Albania. This is our expectation. It is a very serious threat to Albania, they can do everything.
It is necessary to eliminate the activity against Turkey that is taking place here. We have always provided lists with their names to our Albanian friends. There are also persons for whom we seek extradition. We have done it officially, all within the framework of the international law. We have submitted the relevant documents and we expect them to be executed. We do not shelter any terrorists who may come from Albania. We expect this from our friends as well. We have provided lists with their names and people with whom we ask for their extradition."
On the other hand, the Minister Bushati recalled that Albania is a member of NATO and EU candidate and adheres to certain organizations with rules for extraditions, and every path followes diplomatic ways.
"The response of the Albanian state is the answer we have given to both Turkey and internationally. Albania has been one of the countries that has been solidarity with what has happened in Turkey, but on the other hand Albania is a NATO member and EU candidate and adheres to certain organizations with rules for extraditions...", - Bushati declared.
While during his stay in Tirana, Turkish Foreign Minister meet also the Prime Minister Edi Rama and Speaker of the Parliament, Gramoz Ruçi.
