Qumështor - Cheesecake with foils and Syrup - Albanian Delicacy

 Cheesecake with foils and syrup or as is known in Albanian "qumështor me petë dhe shërbet" is a wonderful Albanian sweet whose taste is indescribable when prepared according to Albanian method.

Great for consuming at any time, especially after a full meal or even dinner.

Ideal to serve on festive occasions and family joys, these kind of cheesecake stands undoubtedly at the top of the delicious list of Albanian cooking.

Oculus News suggests the below traditional recipes for preparing this unique home sweet.

Ingredients

(The components below are for 4-5 people)

For the cream:

2 eggs

5 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons of flour

2 cups of milk tea

A little vanilla

For the foils:

2 cups of tea with flour

5-6 tablespoons of fresh butter

For the syrup

2 tea cups with sugar

1 cup of water

Preparation

Prepare the dough normally then divide it in equal parts made in the form of balls, from which the foils are prepared. (these are opened manually on the table or with a rolling pin)

After being opened we leave the foils to dry a little, then cut in size slightly larger than the size of the pan.

Sprinkle the tray with butter, lie the half of the amount of the foils by sprinkling them with butter one by one.

Pour over the cream, pour over by little cream and spread the foils by sprinkling them with butter again.

The excessive margins of the foils that remain outside the pan are wrapped in from the inside.

Apply the surface with butter and let it ripen at 230 degrees for 20 minutes.

After baking, is cooled and cut it into pieces.

In the end, the syrup is poured above.

According to your preference, when you serve it, you can add some almond-thin slices.

Preparation of cream

We throw the eggs in a pot, sugar, a little milk and beat well by adding the flour little by little.
