Shell Upstream Albania hosted today at the Art Gallery Hall an event where students from Shell 2018 - 2019 Scholarship Program are promoted.
The Shell Scholarship program focuses on the area where this company operates, by supporting scholarships for 5 students wishing to study on STEM profiles and oil and gas related subjectsThrough this scholarship the students earn $ 4,000 per year, a sum that covers their study fees.
The event was attended by the representative of SHELL Upstream Albania, Rohan D'Souza, Deputy Minister of Energy, Enis Aliko, Berat District Prefect, Harilla Dafa, Major of Ura Vajgurore, Juljana Memaj, representatives of local institutions and school students.
Shell's representative, Rohan D'Souza, thanked local government for the co-operation and stressed that Shell Company will invest not only in the infrastructure of the areas where it operates but also in social services, especially among young people, in the field of education and knowledge . The biggest investment is the investment in human resources, because if you do not have the right people to properly manage the financial resources, then the expected results will be missing.
