Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and his Macedonian counterpart, Zoran Zaev, are among the dominant candidates for the Nobel Peace Prize. This is how the Swedish journalist Wiktor Numelin told the agency ANA-MPA, which at the same time holds the post of TT agency editor for Nobel prizes.
"It is difficult to say who is the candidate and who is not. But it is a common secret that their names are mentioned for the prize. Every year there are many conjectures and discussions about who will receive the Peace Prize, in which area they would like to focus on jury members. This year, we are talking about the Korean Peninsula, discussing the situation with refugees, negotiations between Greece and Macedonia," the Swedish journalist said.He added the fact that it would be right that such a price would go to both prime ministers.
"It would be perfect for the Nobel Peace Prize to be awarded to the prime ministers of the two countries or to someone else who negotiated," he said among other things.
