The Albanian doctor Dr.Lulzim Rrafshi has been awarded by the Canadian Family Physicians College with the Career Award.
The Albanian doctor was honored at the 2018 Medical Forum, held from 13 to 17 November at the Metro Convention Center in Toronto, Canada.In this forum, Dr. Lulzim Plata has been honored with a career award for "engagement and special contribution and dedication to the community and colleagues".
This assessment is given to doctors with at least 10 years of service who practice the profession correctly, in accordance with the rules of certification of the relevant discipline.
Dr. Lulzim Rrafshi, originally from Pristina, studied firstly medicine in Romania, while at the time of the war in Kosovo in 1999 he emigrated with his family to Canada. Since 2005, he has been licensed in Canada in the field of family medicine. He is currently a member of the Ontario College of Physicians.
Albanian State Minister for Diaspora, Pandeli Majko, expressed the pleasure that the Albanian doctor was honored for his professional work.
"Dr.Lulzim Planeta is valued for the unique contribution he has been giving to the community and his colleagues for more than ten years," Majko wrote on Facebook.
