Tomorrow is compleeted one week from the decision of the Government of Kosovo, which decided to increase to 100% tax on products of Serbia and Bosnia. After this decision, there is a drastic drop in the interest of Serbian businesses to enter goods in Kosovo.
In these conditions the Kosovo Customs Spokesperson, Adriatik Stavileci, announced that so far only two Serbian trucks have entered into Kosovo. One, according to him, was from Serbia and the other from Bosnia. Their entry is enabled after their payment of 100% tax.
"To date, only two trucks have entered Kosovo by paying the 100 percent tax imposed by the Government, respectively one coming from Bosnia and the other from Serbia," Stavileci said.
Stavileci has announced that so far around 20 trucks have been returned. According to him, a number is returned due to the tax, and some because of the documents.
