The Pedagogues of the Faculty of History and Philology of Tirana have signed a petition requesting the abolition of the Higher Education Law.
In this paper made public, the professors point out that this petition shows their support for the cause of the students and the problems that the Law of Higher Education has brought.
"Following the supportive attitude towards the protest of students and their legitimate demands, we, the lecturers of the Faculty of History and Philology of Tirana, thank them (the students) for their civic courage and resistance. Aware that today's problems are a consequence of the Law on Higher Education and Scientific Research in Higher Education Institutions in the Republic of Albania, Nr. 80/2015, as we have been articulating for four years, we seek: The Abolishon of the Law on Education and maintaining the respective responsibilities. Guarantees of student rights, which under current law are violated," reads the statement signed by 51 pedagogues.

We remind that some key professors of this protest, who are public and their voice is heard publicly, are known opponents of the Government, as Mark Marku, Artan Fuga etc.
