The Democratic Party has accused today the Prime Edi Rama through through MP, Albana Vokshi for allegedly he is trying to censor through fines the media and websites that dare to publish the corrupt government affairs.
Vokshi said that the two the bills on communications are nothing but a Rama plan to censor the media.Vokshi - head of the Media Education Commission - denounced also the dismissal of one of the representatives of the opposition at the board of the Audiovisual Media Authority of Albania (AMA), considering this an attempt to seize it.
"Two government draft laws that threaten to close and with fines the online portals are Edi Rama's plan to limit the freedom of media in Albania and its full control of every source of information in the country.
The strengthening portals and the transforming these portals into an important tool for informing independently the public is jeopardizing Edi Rama's 20-year longest investment in politics: propaganda through the mainstream media control.
