Albanian migrants in Italy, according to data from the Italian National Institute of Social Insurance and Health (INPS), have been rated as the most labor-intensive community.
Il Sole 24 writes that Albanians hold the first place with nearly 300 thousand employees registered in INPS.

The Romanian community is ranked as the first foreigner community in Italy, with 1.1 million, yet it is not in the six communities with the highest number of registered employees. Then there are Moroccans with 262,000 employees, Chinese with 209,000 employees, Ukrainians with 166,000 employees, 117,000 Filipinas and Moldovans with 106,000 registered employees
In Italy there are about 2.2 million foreigners registered at the National Institute of Social Insurance. 1.7 million are employed in different sectors of the economy while the rest are retirees or individuals receiving social support.
Most of the employees work in the non-agricultural sector, almost 1.1 million foreigners registered, 375 thousand work in the family service sector and 139 thousand in the agricultural sector. In the last 10 years, the number of foreign employees has increased by 26%, from 1.3 million in 2008 to 1.7 million in 2017.
