The series of Albanian immigrants killings that is happening in Greece after the killing of the Greek minority Kostandinos Kacifa by Albanian police in Bularat has become a troubling phenomenon, as the last victim is an 18-year-old Albanian in Greece.
Based on these serious happenings, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has reacted sharply. Referring to the murder of Marios Isa in Kavalla, Berisha emphasizes that he condemns with the utmost severity these pure racist criminal acts."After the shootout by the Albanian police of the Greek extremist from Bularati, Kostandin Kaficas, in Greece are happening a series of murderers in a primitive and racist pride of revenge.
In a matter of weeks have been executed in different areas and circumstances 7 Albanians, all but one being bloodthirsty executions based on hatred and primitive racism against Albanians and as revenge, criminal acts of Albanophobia," Berisha says in his Facebook profile.
He also urgently international intervention by Greek authorities through the investigation of these killings, which according to the former head of government are racist motives.
"I call on the UN Commission on Human Rights, the Council of Europe, the Commission and the Council of Ministers of the EU to intervene to the Greek authorities for an independent investigation into the causes and circumstances of the racist executions of Albanians in Greece and to exert all the deserved pressure on the Greek authorities to punish these ugly criminal offenses," Berisha says.
