Sali Berisha while speaking in the Parliament |
Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has again made a strong statement today as he threatened the majority that if does not approve the vetting amendment in politics, then he promised that "the boys would grab their weapons and destroy the socialists as mice".
In Parliament he pledged to MPs, saying "I give you the word of honor" that Albanians will throw away the yoke of crime at any price and this will be done "tooth for tooth" (meaning with a fierce fight)."Do not continue to approve the amendment, I give you the honorary word that will not be far off the day when in the streets and squares of Albania will be performed: "Boys, boys grab your guns, death or freedom!"
And you will be dragged on the streets and disappear like mice, the Albanians will throw the yoke of crime at any cost...
But after this strong statement, the parliament speaker Gramoz Ruci has asked his party Parliamentary Group to distance itself from these calls.
"Is the second time you mentioned the words of the partisans, 'you guys grab the weapons, death or freedom.' But I ask to parliamentary groups to distance themselves from these calls," Ruçi said.
After Ruçi, Socialist Party Group leader, Taulant Balla has requested the termination of the session and has called for measures to be taken against the MP Sali Berisha, for anti constitutional appeal in parliament.
"I ask to take action against MP Sali Berisha because of anti constitutional appeal made in Parliament," Balla said.
While a few moments latter, the LZHK leader, Dashamir Shehi, also requested the adoption of the vetting in politics by giving his arguments. Shehi said many of the people in the hall have stolen and everyone should be held responsible for his own part.
Among other things he focused on Berisha's statements about the weapons, considering it a 'passion statement' and advising his Socialist colegues to stay calm as no one will grab the weapons, implying were the Democrats who made possible dhe democraci without weapons but with documents and letters.
