Two foreign nationals has been arrested by Kosovo police for counterfeiting money.
Oculus News sources suggest that the foreign nationals have tried to cheat two exchange shop owners in Pristina by attempting to exchange euro banknotes suspected of being counterfeit with US dollar banknotes.
"During the control that has been made to the suspected persons, it is noted that the same person possess other banknotes (currencies from different countries) which are suspected of being falsified as well. There was a reasonable suspicion that the suspects have committed the criminal offense "Falsification of money" according to the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo," is said in the press release.
The two arrestees are sent to custody and police confiscated in total 4910 euros, 2484 US dollars and 440 Turkish lira.
