Charles John Brown, the Nuncio of the Pope in Albania welcomed in the Church of Our Lady of Shkodra

 Dom Piter Popaj, members of the Albanian Catholic Church "Lady of Shkodra" in Hartsdale, New York welcomed warmly the Epiphany Feast, the Apostolic Nuncio in Albania, His Excellency, Charles John Brown, Archbishop of the Aquila.

Ms Charles John Brown, was born in New York on October 13, 1959. He studied the following academic studies: History, at the University of Notre Dame, Indiana (USA); Theology, Oxford University (England); Medieval Studies, University of Toronto (Canada); Sacramental Theology, University of St. Anselm, Rome.

He was ordained a priest on May 13, 1989, at St. Patrick's Cathedral, New York, for the New York Archdiocese. From 1989 until 1991 he was deputy parish priest near the San Brendan parish in the Bronx neighborhood of New York. On May 6, 2000, Charles John Brown was appointed Chaplain of His Holiness, while in September 2009 , Secretary of the International Theological Commission.

Since 1994 he is the official of the Holy See's Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. On November 26, 2011, Pope Benedict XVI appointed Mgr Charles John Brown the Apostolic Nuncio in Ireland. On March 09, 2017, Pope Francis appointed him the Apostolic Nuncio to Albania, replacing Ms. Ramiro Moliner Ingles.
