Bulgaria intends to reach ¼ of energy consumption by renewable sources by 2030. This is what the Bulgarian Deputy Minister of Energy ZhEKO Stankov said at a forum in Sofia.
Now the renewable energy quota is about 19 percent. In this regard, the state will try to stimulate families to create small hydropower plants.Respecting the Ecological Legislation Bulgaria wants to continue using the power plants because they provide about 40 percent of the countrie's electricity.
The fifth and sixth blocks of the Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant are the second component, which is included in Bulgaria's energy.
