Following the testing and training, as well as the successful verifications of the international authorities, Air Albania signed the triple financial agreement today, 'paving thus the way to be certified.
The Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, said today from Tirana International Airport "Mother Teresa" that the "Air Albania" has gone through the stages of consolidation of technical testing and the preparation of all the documents and manuals required to be certified, and today reached the conclusion of the financial agreement between the parties, which opens the green light for certifying this company by the civil authorities, something that will happen within a week or 10 days.""We are finishing the process to end the project. 'Air Albania' will soon be in the sky. This will be the pride of Albanians and a great honor. We signed partnership documents today," Balluku said.
Balluku explained that the establishment of an airline is an important process because it is about the safety that we have to offer to passengers, especially when talking about a flag-holding company, we talk about the seriousness and the greatest commitment given to a process.
While General Director of "Turkish Airlines", M. İlker Aycı, thanked the Prime Minister Edi Rama and also Minister Balluku for the co-operation.
"We are very excited to be here. You know that since some time we are working on the preparation of infrastructure for 'Air Albania' and we are very proud of working on this. This task was given to us by the two leaders, President Erdogan, and Prime Minister Edi Rama and after that, we started to work very hard and the preparation of the technical process has been completed and we are almost completing the process to complete the project," he said.
