The apartments of the three judges who reduced considerabely the the sentence for Dritan Dajti in the Serious Crimes Appeal, have been raided by Tirana Police.
The controls were conducted by Special Police Forces after the orders by the Serious Crimes Court.
According to the police, these controls come after information that these judges have abused with their duty and took the decision in violation of the law in favour of Dritan Dajti. Petrit Aliaj, Skender Damini and Aleks Nikolli are the judges who's apartments are being raided by Police.

The Court of Appeals for Serious Crimes accepted the shortened trial for Dajti, who was sentenced to life imprisonment, by serving 25 years in prison for the killing four policemen, Fatos Xhani, Altin Dizdari, Kastriot Feskaj, and Sajmir Duckollari during their operation for his arrest in Durres in August 2009.
