"By the end of the year we will propose to the governments of Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece and Romania that twe formally submit a joint nomination for the organization of the European Football Championship in 2028 or the World Football Championship in 2030."
This is what the Bulgarian Minister of Sports Krasen Kralev after meeting in Sofia with his counterparts from the three neighboring Balkan states and representatives of four national football federations. The latest version of the proposal will be signed in Thessaloniki April 12 this year.
